Heya!

My name is Kati, and I’m a Finnish Chef based in Sydney. 

My journey began from my early childhood from a strong passion and love for food, passed to me by my parents and grandmother, who all are amazing cooks. 

Been Born on the border of Finland and Russia, I have a strong Karelian heritage and been influenced of the cuisines from both sides of the border.

I have always been interested of different tastes, cuisines and cultures

I have worked through my passion with multiple different cuisines from Mediterranean, Italian & French to South East Asian, Chinese, traditional Finnish (Karelian), Nordic cuisine to Modern Australian and so many other in between.
Worked in Sydney’s Top Restaurants like Ms. G’s, Fred’s, Hotel Centennial and most recently at Lotus 2.0 as a Sous Chef along Dan Hong and Sam Young.
Currently I’m hosting Brunches, Dinners and small events as a Private chef.
